Fishermans Bay

Nestled in a calm inlet, Fisherman’s Bay is a quiet seaside village with a population around 300. The town is located just 5 minutes north of Port Broughton and 160 km from Adelaide. Fisherman’s Bay boasts fantastic fishing and very affordable homes (currently leasehold) along with easy access to health services and schools in Port Broughton. Fisherman’s Bay has retained its character of a sleepy seaside holiday retreat for working class families. Shacks and homes line the seaside village’s roads, aptly named after fish varieties. More recently new homes are being built, some catering for the tourist population attracted to this quiet fishing spot tucked away in a rural setting. Home prices vary in this location due to lease arrangements and start from (approximately) $50,000 and upward.
