Booleroo Centre

Booleroo Centre, with a current population of 309 was founded in 1875. The town provides services to a large agricultural region. Grain growing is the major activity along with wool, sheep and prime lamb production. Businesses include engineering, farm merchandise suppliers, garages, a supermarket, bakery and cafe. Booleroo Centre also provides a Kindergarten to Year 12 School, 31-bed hospital, 25-unit senior citizens' home with a number of independent living units and a full range of sporting facilities. The Steam and Traction Museum features the largest display of steam engines in South Australia.
