Port Vincent

Port Vincent rests on the east coast of Yorke Peninsula. The town was once a port for grain but is now recognised for its water sports. With a population of approximately 450 and a new marina development, Port Vincent has an aquatic centre operating within the sheltered waters of the bay. The aquatic centre provides an extensive aquatics program and caters for schools. Port Vincent has a number of retail outlets and a range of accommodation styles, attracting many tourists throughout the year particularly during the summer months. Fields of employment include tourism, aquatics, aquaculture, retail, some trades and agriculture. Land prices are still low, mixed with the recent construction of modern million dollar mansions with sea views.
